Brief Introduction of EAMCP

EAMCP is a symbolic project in implementing the Belt and Road Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping. It is also an innovative platform advocated by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, primarily aimed at bilateral cooperation between ASEAN and China, Japan and Korea. Since the construction officially launched in 2016, three consecutive forums have been successfully held, achieved a series of significant achievements, and received extensive praise and positive response in East Asia and even in the international community.

To deepen the construction of EAMCP, themed with "Towards Greater Openness and Connectivity", 2020 EAMCP will focus on the mainline of “Ports, Trade, Shipping, and Finance”, fully display the new thoughts, new achievements, and new ideas of marine cooperation in East Asia. It is composed of seven major events, namely “One main forum, five sub-forums and one exhibition”. The exhibition here refers to East Asia Marine Expo.

2020 East Asia Marine Expo, as one of the major event of EAMCP, guided by Qingdao West Coast New Area Management Committee and Qingdao Municipal Marine Development Bureau, hosted by Huangfa Group and Zhenwei Exhibition Group, will be held at Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition on September 22-24. With a exhibition area around 40,000 square meters, it will be divided into six parts, including international exhibition area, Qingdao exhibition area, marine intelligent manufacturing exhibition area, marine major equipment exhibition area, marine financial and trading exhibition area, and marine port and shipping exhibition area. Exhibits including marine engineering equipment, information technology, new energy, new materials, biotechnology, finance, trade, port shipping, etc.
