On the morning of August 16, 2021, a regular Coordination Meeting on the Preparations of East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum 2021 was held at the Meeting Room of Co-working Section on the 4th Floor of CREC Qingdao Cosmopolitan Exposition, and chaired by Wu Zhicheng, who is the Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of Qingdao Forum and the Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference of Qingdao Marine High-tech Zone. The public officials presented at this meeting included Ding Yiqun, who is the Executive Committee of Qingdao Forum, the Member of the Working Committee, and the Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Qingdao Marine High-tech Zone; and Zhao Yingmin, who is the Secretary of Leading Party Member's Group of the Marine Development Bureau of Qingdao Marine High-tech Zone.


The related Task Forces reported their respective work progresses during the Meeting, including the Opening Ceremony & Forum Session, General Coordination, Founding, Event Service, Information Coordination, and Investment Promotion & Talent Attraction.

Zhao suggested that teamwork should be strengthened to improve the collaboration abilities of all Task Forces, and he also put forwards pertinent advices on the targeted investment promotion & talent attraction and the strict epidemic prevention & control activities.

Wu put forwards requirements on the preparations from five aspects: to guarantee all deliverables at each milestone; to improve all specific solutions; to break down all responsibilities; to well design all workflows; and to carry out all tasks and duties based on strict work disciplines.
