On December 19, the construction of the world's first 100,000-ton smart fishery large-scale aquaculture ship (guoxin 1) was launched in Qingdao, marking that the world's first 100,000-ton smart fishery large-scale aquaculture ship project officially entered the full construction and launch stage. The ship will be put into operation in March 2022 after completion of subsection construction, closing, docking and launching and commissioning of equipment and systems in 2021.
It is understood that "Guoxin 1" is 249.9m in length, 45m in width and 21.5m in depth. It has a design draft of 12m, a deadweight of about 100,000 tons, a displacement of 130,000 tons, and a design speed of 10 knots. It can move to avoid the harsh weather such as typhoons and red tides and carry out aquaculture operations in the sea areas around the world.
