Focusing on the theme of "Deepening Exchanges and Mutual Learning and Creating Industrial Prosperity", the event of Qingdao Tour of Chinese and Japanese Innovative Enterprises has invited 13 foreign-funded leading enterprises in the fields of ocean, intelligent manufacturing, great health and new materials to conduct in-depth visits, investigations and exchanges in the New Area to promote exchanges and cooperation in production, learning and research.
At the meeting, the Sino-Japan (Qingdao) Local Development Cooperation Demonstration Zone was highlighted. Covering an area of 10.68 square kilometers, the core area of the Demonstration Zone aims to serve as an international economic cooperation park with "cultural integration, resource exchange and complementary advantages" between China and Japan, "trinity" of production, life and ecology that attracts global investors. It is planned to invest 3 billion yuan for the industry planning of the Demonstration Zone, including energy conservation and environmental protection, new display, integrated circuits, new energy and new materials, life and health and modern service industries, etc., and for the construction of supporting infrastructure such as water, electricity and communication.
Combined with the revitalization and development of Qingdao's real economy and the construction of special parks for emerging industries, Material and Equipment Zone B of Qingdao Industrial Park of New Display is planned to be built in the Demonstration Zone, aiming at the intelligent manufacturing of materials and equipment upstream of the new display industry chain. As for external communication, the Chinese and Japanese International Living Room has been built and opened, and large activities such as the Chinese and Japanese Green Technology Exchange Meeting and the Dialogue with Qingdao, Shandong Cooperation and Exchange Meeting have been held. The Zone has established daily liaison mechanisms with 7 Japanese government offices in China, and built partnerships with 16 Japanese financial institutions and commercial associations. As for project attraction, the Sino-Japan industrial hyperlink platform has been built. Moreover, 8 Japanese-funded projects, with a total investment of 120 million dollars, have been launched.
