On May 26^th, Huangfa Group held a special meeting on the preparation for East Asia Marine Expo 2022. At the meeting, all cadres and staff were mobilized to make a concerted effort and take the initiative to go all out to prepare for a successful Expo in all aspects such as investment and exhibitor attraction, transportation and security, epidemic prevention and control, atmosphere building and cloud exhibition with great passion and high spirits.
 

Liu Shuwu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Group made arrangements for the preparation of the Expo and required staff at all levels to have a clear understanding of the great significance of the Expo. They should strive to advance the preparation for the Expo with a strong sense of mission to build the Expo an exhibition brand with an international influence and contribute to making the West Coast New Area manage the ocean in an all-round way, boosting the “Shore of Exhibition” to go global, and moving faster to create a new pivot for building China into a strong maritime nation; they should secure the implementation of the work with a strong sense of responsibility, make lists and plans “by days”, establish a management accountability system by objectives, and form a “chain of responsibilities” to implement all tasks at all levels and assign every task to designated person; they should put effort into the task of epidemic prevention and control with a strong sense of urgency, firmly put this task in the first place, and take precise prevention and control measures in different scenarios covering the whole process and all elements by following the general principle of “Seven Musts”, sparing no effort to create an exhibition environment making every participant feel relieved and comfortable.


At the meeting, all working groups gave a report on the progress of the preparation: up till now, the investment and exhibitor attraction work has been completed by 95%. Nearly 100 Fortune Global 500 enterprises, scientific and research institutions as well as industry-leading enterprises and key enterprises/organizations, such as Rosneft Oil, ABB, First Institute of Oceanography of MNR and Chasing Innovation, were included in the list of exhibitors. The “cloud exhibition” has been completed by 85%. The support plans for epidemic prevention and control, emergency management, transportation and security, environmental sanitation and cleaning, and power and communications have been completed and are under implementation.
   

Thoroughly following the “strict, realistic, meticulous, practical and swift” working requirements and the requirements of the “Year for Improving Conduct and Capabilities” campaign, Huangfa Group will make an all-out and decisive effort to overcome difficulties and hold a successful East Asia Marine Expo with the best conditions, highest standards and strictest requirements, preparing for the CPC’s 20^th National Congress with outstanding achievements.
