The 6th East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum starts recruiting sponsors

On November 30th, the Business Cooperation Conference for 2022 Major Exhibitions of Qingdao West Coast New Area and 32nd Qingdao International Beer Festival was successfully held, at which Zhao Yingmin, Secretary of Party Leadership Group of the Marine Development Bureau of Qingdao West Coast New Area strongly introduced the 6th East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum.
During this promotion event, an introduction to the Qingdao Forum was carried out concerning its development history, accomplishments, arrangement of activities, and other aspects, and the Forum officially started recruiting sponsors worldwide. The Forum will provide generous rewards for the sponsors depending on their level of sponsorship, such as promotional service, exhibition qualification of the East Asia Marine Expo, etc.
Display of the accomplishments of Qingdao Forum
As an important thematic event under the framework of the East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform, Qingdao Forum is a high-level marine forum designed to promote the international cooperation and exchange on the marine economy, science and technology, culture, environmental protection, disaster prevention and mitigation in the East Asia region guided by the Belt and Road Initiative.
In recent five years, a total of more than 200 special guests have been invited to attend the Qingdao Forum, and more than 2,000 enterprises have participated in the conference and exhibition. 21 influential reports have been published and 4 international cooperative alliances have been established. The Forum has witnessed the signing of contracts for 22 marine projects, with a total amount of investment of 82.4 billion yuan, and for 12 high-end talent team projects, with a total amount of investment of 2.1 billion yuan.
After 5 years’ development, the East Asia Marine Expo has expanded its exhibition area from 20,000 square meters to 60,000 square meters, reaching an intended volume of transactions of nearly 7 billion yuan on a five-year basis and attracting exhibitors from more than 70 countries. In 2020, 779 enterprises and agencies participated in the exhibition, with an intended volume of transactions of 2.81 billion yuan, and nearly 30 exhibitors showed their intention to invest and settle down in the New Area.
